Repair
Diagnosis and repair when the system is down: no laser line, scanner errors, dim or noisy detectors, software that will not connect.
Confocal repairRepair, preventive maintenance, service contracts and lab moves for laser scanning and spinning disk confocals. Coastal Microscopes engineers come to your lab anywhere in the US.
Including the models Zeiss no longer supports. Repairs, PM, lasers, alignment, software and service contracts.
We also service Leica, Olympus and Nikon confocals and spinning disk systems, including the CrestOptics units we install. Tell us the model and we will confirm.
One team for the whole imaging system: scan head, lasers, stand, stage, incubation, camera and software.
Diagnosis and repair when the system is down: no laser line, scanner errors, dim or noisy detectors, software that will not connect.
Confocal repairScheduled visits with laser power measurements, optics cleaning, scan path and pinhole alignment, and a written report.
Contracts and PMLaser repair, replacement and realignment. Scan head, detector and pinhole alignment to bring sectioning and signal back.
Controller, PC and ZEN or AIM software support, including the aging computers that older systems depend on.
De-install, crate, relocate and reinstall, with alignment and performance checks at the new site.
Lab movesOn-site user training after a repair, a move or a new install, so your users get the most from the system.
Sometimes a repair is not the best use of the budget. We also add new CrestOptics spinning disks, lasers and cameras to existing systems, take trade-ins and sell refurbished confocals, so you get a straight answer either way.
The same four steps whether it is a down laser or an annual PM.
An engineer, not a call center, reviews your request and asks the few questions that narrow it down.
You get an advance estimate, refined with scope, parts and lead time once the system is evaluated. You approve before work starts.
On site in your lab, or crated and repaired on our bench. Lasers measured, optics cleaned, scan path aligned.
A written service report with the measurements taken, plus 30 days of coverage on parts and labor.
