Confocal service / Lab moves
Moving a confocal to a new lab or building
We de-install, crate, move and reinstall confocal systems, then realign and verify performance at the new site, so your users are imaging again quickly.
What a move includes
Down the hall, across campus or to another state.
- Pre-move survey of the system and new room
- Laser, scan head and stand de-install
- Custom crating and padded packing
- Insured transport, COI on request
- Reinstall and full alignment
- Laser power and performance verification
- Software and controller reconnection
- User check-out at the new site
How a service call runs
The same four steps whether it is a down laser or an annual PM.
Tell us the symptom
An engineer, not a call center, reviews your request and asks the few questions that narrow it down.
Get an estimate
You get an advance estimate, refined with scope, parts and lead time once the system is evaluated. You approve before work starts.
We do the work
On site in your lab, or crated and repaired on our bench. Lasers measured, optics cleaned, scan path aligned.
Report and warranty
A written service report with the measurements taken, plus 30 days of coverage on parts and labor.
Questions labs ask us
Can you move a confocal to another building or state?
Yes. We de-install, crate, ship insured and reinstall, then realign and verify performance at the new site.
Do we need a new room survey?
We review the new room for power, space, vibration and environment before the move so there are no surprises on install day.
Request a free service assessment
Tell us the system, where it is now, where it is going and your target date.
No obligation and no charge for the assessment.
